TCAA I-HELP adult shelter

Tempe Community Action Agency

Adults experiencing homelessness.

HOW TO START

Call 480-389-1277, TCAA’s published I-HELP Shelter and Daytime Resources number, to confirm the intake process before travel. The program page lists Monday–Friday, 8–10 a.m., at 2146 E Apache Blvd, Tempe. A separate overview lists 480-590-5514 for an intake appointment. The contact page labels 480-422-8922 ext. 5882 as Food Pantry and its footer as Services Site Front Desk, not a confirmed I-HELP intake line.

Three TCAA pages publish different contact and intake guidance. The shelter/day-resource number is a published contact, not phone-confirmed intake. Confirm the process before travel; no source confirms a bed or admission.

What to say or ask
Save published provider contact

Saves only the public program name, organization, published number and source link. This does not confirm intake, availability, or that calling fits your plan.

Research notes and sources

Latest source review:

Conflicting information

Each detail keeps its own check date. A newer review does not renew older information.

WHAT WE CHECKED

Latest source check

4/5 key fields documentedConflict recordedAvailability unknown

Sources disagree. Confirm the instructions before you go.

Confirm details before relying on them; a source recheck is due.

What was checked · sources & limits

Count covers purpose, eligibility, service area and how to start—not hours or current availability.

Recorded fields: 4 of 4. This is a completeness count, not a rating.

Confirm conflicting instructions

Dates vary by field. This latest source date does not mean every detail was checked that day, or that a provider confirmed availability.

Earliest recorded recheck date:

Information completeness, not a provider rating or availability guarantee. A newer source check does not renew older claims or schedules. The review date is the earliest applicable valid deadline.

Review status uses retained claim and routing-schedule deadlines at the later of now or your selected time. Unknown deadlines stay unknown. No source has been rechecked by this calculation.

Historical audit ·

This completeness snapshot does not describe the current review state shown above. Use the latest source check and current recheck date in this evidence card for the record’s present status.

The snapshot counts four recorded source-supported fields, including documented limitations. It did not re-read sources or contact providers. The claim-only Evidence Lens and routing schedules retain separate provenance.

Evidence Lens
See the evidence behind the confidence.

We show five separate checks: how to start, eligibility, service area, hours, and documents. “Supported” means the claim has recorded support. “Unknown” means a gap remains. “Conflicting” means the sources need reconciliation. These are evidence labels, not a percentage chance of getting help.

These are recorded claim states and their own review dates, shown in Arizona time. A supported claim or a review not yet due does not confirm that this step is usable today.

This record contains an unresolved conflict. Confirm with the provider; cited sources do not resolve the conflict.

What still needs confirmation
  • Recheck the published eligibility, service area, intake method.
  • Unresolved operational conflict.
  • Three TCAA pages publish different contact and intake guidance. The shelter/day-resource number is a published contact, not phone-confirmed intake. Confirm the process before travel; no source confirms a bed or admission.

No capacity guarantee: published information does not confirm a bed, funding, admission, or current availability.

Ask the provider: Can you confirm the current intake process, eligibility, service area, hours, required documents, and whether help is available?
