Search and planning

The program directory, guided-help form, and referral plan run in your browser. Those tools do not send your choices to an AI service. With device saving enabled, selected programs and limited structured brief choices are stored locally with a 24-hour expiry. They can be visible to someone else using this browser. No account, cloud backup or cross-device sync is created. The site checks expiry when it runs; it cannot erase storage while the browser is closed. Clear your plan to remove these saved choices immediately, or use without saving to keep work only in this tab. If browser storage is unavailable, the site tells you and keeps work in memory only.

Use general circumstances. Do not enter a name, birth date, diagnosis, case number, or street address. Search terms in the directory appear in its URL and may remain in browser history.

Optional shelter map

The shelter guide works as a list without loading a third-party map. If you choose to load Google Maps, Google receives the selected public service address and ordinary connection information such as your IP address; its own cookie and data policies apply. PHX Good does not send your brief, plan, search terms or device location to that map. Hiding it stops the embedded map from loading further; it does not erase data already received by Google.

Ask Athena

Ask Athena is an optional AI conversation. When you agree and send a message, a limited recent conversation is sent through PHX Good’s server to OpenAI for processing. Do not include names, case numbers, account numbers, exact addresses, medical records, or other private information. You can use the directory and guided-help form without using Athena.

PHX Good does not save chat transcripts in its database. The conversation remains in page memory until you clear it, reload, or close the page. The server records aggregate request counts to limit usage. OpenAI’s retention policies and your operator’s account settings may still apply; clearing this page does not delete provider records. Copies you create

Downloaded PDFs, copied text, and printed plans are under your control. Clearing this page does not delete those copies. External provider links open another website with its own privacy practices.

Reporting changes

Submitting the correction form sends the selected program, report type, note, and optional source link to this application’s server for review. No name or email is required. Reports do not automatically update public listings.

Phoenix Pulse

Pulse checks a fixed set of public program pages. Findings and submitted tips remain private until approved for publication through PHX Good’s AI-assisted review workflow. Both websites show the same published feed. Automated checks do not establish availability or renew editorial review dates. No human review is implied by a source-check date. Do not include client names, case numbers, health details, or confidential addresses in a report.

Technical requests

The app uses no advertising scripts or third-party analytics. Our first-party counters record aggregate visits and broad actions such as opening a program, phone link, or the X profile. These measure activity, not unique people, people online, or successful referrals. Action requests include only the site surface, an allowed action category, and a random tab-session token. They do not include the page URL, search text, selected program, referral details, or chat. The server stores a digest for duplicate prevention; session digests expire after 48 hours and are removed on later event writes. The host still receives ordinary web requests. Your vote and helpfulness feedback

Community votes are optional and advisory. A random browser token is saved in local storage when you vote; the server stores a digest with your poll choice so you can update it until the deadline. Your vote is not linked to an email or referral plan. One token can cast one ballot per poll; different browsers, cleared storage, or separate main and Operations sites can allow additional ballots. The count is not a verified count of people. The “Did this help?” control sends only yes or no, the site surface, and a session token; it does not identify the program or situation you viewed.

The optional update list

You may privately choose interests in product, finance, useful outcomes, governance, or articles. Choosing none means general updates. A campaign limited to one interest requires that selection; interests never change vote weight, link your email to a ballot, or count as evidence of impact. Existing saved preferences are not changed by another anonymous signup using the same address.

A separate, unchecked option lets you express interest in being contacted about a named article credit. We store that choice and its consent date and version privately; we do not collect a public name here. It is not permission to publish your name, quote, story or ballot. Any named credit or quotation needs your later, specific approval. You may choose contact interest without newsletter updates. Unsubscribing stops these contacts too. To request a preference change or removal, contact hello@phxgood.org; ownership must be verified before changing saved choices.

Signing up sends your email, selected topics, and explicit consent to PHX Good’s private server database. An email address is not verified by saving the signup. The form states whether email delivery is connected; a saved signup is not proof that any email was sent or delivered. Your address is separate from votes, searches, and referral plans. Do not enter client or case information. You can request removal by emailing hello@phxgood.org. Any future update emails should include an unsubscribe link.
